Born in a Barn Boutique
Branding, e-commerce website build, and sales page for a furniture artist.
Contract Work: Design Partner for Virtually Yours Agency
Born in a Barn Boutique, run by furniture artist and educator Kimberly, is a furniture artistry workshop with a focus on educating fellow artists. Kimberly came to me for a website and brand revamp to shift her focus away from direct furniture sales and to educating others. We decided to do a full revamp, including branding, an e-commerce website, a sales page, and strategic consulting for the creation of her membership group, The Barnyard.
Services booked:
✔️ Full service with logos and branding, e-commerce website and copywriting, strategic consulting, and sales page design.
We wanted to raise the perceived value of her brand to match the quality of her furniture and content. For the branding, we decided to keep her signature red barn (I even based the barn in her logo on a wooden sign made by her husband!).
I paired it with rustic lettering and hand-drawing to keep that handmade, farmhouse feel but paired it with clean lines and a nice creamy white that we used throughout her website to keep a clean look.

I started working with Emily a few months ago and right from the beginning I knew it was a great pairing between her and I. She has a very easy going nature to her, but watch out she is a go getter and will not let you down! One of the many things Emily has done is transform my website into a thing of beauty for the end user and she has made it so user friendly and functional! Emily is so organized, she is always ready to go with her notes and suggestions - which I love. I wish I could keep Emily indefinitely, she has been a great asset to Born in a Barn and has improved the look and feel of my business!

The Website
Membership Sales Page
For Kimberly’s membership, we wanted to create a very clear, easy-to-navigate sales page that would maximize conversion with her target audience, who are generally less tech-savvy.
With a combination of video, testimonials, content sneak peeks, and bullet-pointed lists of benefits, I created a high-converting sales page that’s accessible for all users!
